On the weekend of Saturday November 30th and Sunday December 1st, we will be opening the studio doors again to welcome you with festive nibbles and drinks to share our latest work. We are delighted to announce the line up of artists and designer makers taking part in the Made in Kings Heath 2019, and a new exciting venue on our annual open studio art trail to
This year ten artists are taking part in the mini art trail, all of whom live or work within the Kings Heath area. There will be many of the familiar artists and makers in addition to a few new faces. Taking part in the event for the first time are painter Sam Weeks, Mixed Media artist Claudeine TS Art and Encaustic / Mixed media artist Mitch at the Attic Art Studio.
We are delighted to be collaborating with Fletchers Bar & the Kitchen Garden Cafe, which

will be our fourth venue this year. We are very grateful to Tracey Fletcher for her generosity, which has enabled three artists on the art trail to have a temporary home for the weekend. On Saturday 30th November they will exhibit alongside artists taking part in the Kitchen Garden Christmas Fair & in The Shed, whilst on Sunday 1st December they will be in the Kitchen Garden Shop & The Shed.
Made in Kings Heath, is a not for profit organisation which helps artists and makers support one another to showcase their work and connect with local residents. Established by felt-maker, Emma Jackson and ceramic artist Melanie Keevil, this friendly and relaxed event is now in its sixth year.
The success of the event is reflected in its year on year success, evolving organically from

one studio opening to showcase four artists to becoming an art trail, encompassing home studios and local venues. It is a great way for artists and residents to meet and see first hand where artists make their work, in a welcoming atmosphere. It also gives visitors an opportunity to support their local makers and source a unique variety of high quality, handmade work.
Look out for our event invitation coming out soon. We look forward to seeing you at the end of November!
