Call out for Artists / Designer Makers

IMG_1766We have started  planning for the 2019 Made in Kings Heath Open Studio Artist Trail and are looking for expressions of interest from artists and designer makers who would like to take part.

This will be the sixth MiKH event, and are looking for artists and designer makers who live or work in Kings Heath to take part and/or become a host studio/home venue. To help us select a best fit of types of work, that sits alongside one another & fits the spaces across the venues available, we are asking for expression of interest to include;

  • Your name, business name, website, email and contact number.
  • Please outline the nature of your work, detailing what you intend to show.
  • List your work price range.
  • Let us know if you wish to participate as; (1) an artist and/or (2) an artist host studio/home venue.

Made in Kings Heath 2019 will be on Saturday 30th November & Sunday 1st December  2019. The event fee is £40 per artist.

If you would be interested in taking part, please contact us by 16th July 2019. Likewise if you would like more information about what is involved as an arts/designer maker,  being a host studio/home venue or have any further questions please contact Emma  via madeinkingsheath@gmail.com

When expressions of interest have been received we will send out an application form.  The application deadline is August 2nd and we hope to be able to confirm places by 6th September 2018, at the latest.

Thank you, we look forward to hearing from you.

  1. Is the website you quote right? madeinkingsheath@.com doesn’t seem right? I’m taking part in the ArtsBrum open studios in October, but would be interested in this one as well. As you know I’ve had OS at my house to coincide with yours the last two years. If you would consider widening the area I’d be happy to have it at my house (and host 3-4 others), otherwise I’d be interested in a table somewhere. I produce textile jewellery and accessories (£2-150), woven shawls (£30-70), embroidered cards (£3-6), textile pictures (£30-200), watercolours (£5-60) and cards printed from them (£2); dyed and fancy yarns (£2.50-3.50 per skein)
