Mel, Jane, Andy, Sarah and I would like to thank each and everyone of you, who braved the rain and gales to visit us, and shared in our celebration of locally produced art work. We very much appreciated your visits to our second Made in Kings Heath Christmas Fair, and hope you enjoyed the experience as much as we did. A wonderful weekend was spent reconnecting with old acquaintances and making new friends in Kings Heath and beyond. It was great to hear the messages of support from those of you who were unable to make it to the event as well. They mean a lot to us and hope you will have the opportunity to join us in the year ahead.
We would also like to thank those who supported us in making this event a success. A special mention must go to my husband, Rob Anderson, for the lighting, electrics, gazebo building, and the superb mulled wine. Thank you too, to the talented Ben Carlton-Gray for generously making delicious cakes and mince pies, and finally to our families and friends for their patience and support.
Could we have had a wetter weekend to hold the Christmas Open Studio? Apparently not it turned out, as only weeks later large parts of the U.K. experienced floods we like we haven’t seen in a generation. We hope you and your families had a dry, peaceful and happy Christmas and wish you all health and happiness for the year ahead.
